The standard modern approach. A small ultrasonic probe breaks up the clouded lens through a stitch-free incision under 3mm wide, and the new lens is folded into place.
Femtosecond laser-assisted
A laser performs the incision and initial lens softening with computer-guided precision, which can help in more complex cases or when combined with astigmatism correction.
MICS (micro-incision)

Is cataract surgery painful?
No. Numbing eye drops are used instead of injections for most cases, so patients typically feel light pressure rather than pain during the 15–20 minute procedure.
How many days should I plan to stay?
Most international patients plan for five to seven days, covering pre-surgery diagnostics, the procedure itself, and at least one follow-up exam before flying home.
Can I choose to have both eyes done on the same trip?
Yes, many overseas patients have both eyes treated a few days apart during a single visit, which your surgeon will plan around your recovery.
Will I still need glasses afterward?
It depends on the lens you choose. Standard monofocal lenses usually still need reading glasses, while premium multifocal or EDOF lenses can reduce or remove that dependence — this is covered in detail during your consultation.
What if I also have a retina or refractive concern?
